More best news of the day

Thank you, gentlemen, you are all hereby drafted as honorary godparents. Yes, Jonathan, we’re still on for Paradou from July 2 to 16. Lawd, I hadn’t thought about laying down a case of 2011. Maybe the godparents can run a poll and elect.

Congratulations indeed, Oswaldo.

Should we be blaming/giving credit to the Bouchard and Prevost and the other wines at the January Jeebus in the Snow?

A case? I believe a pipe of port is traditional for a boy.

Anyway, a bunch of us will get together behind closed doors. After every vote, we'll send out a glass of wine: red if we haven't agreed, white otherwise.

Blimey, a pipe is, like, four dozen cases? And of port, no less. Maybe a pipe of 2011 Overnoy Poulsard would be a good idea.

Kirk, perceptive thinking, but that surfeit of loveliness only sent me into the deepest of slumbers. But conception was definitely yankee; I wonder if he qualifies for a green card.

John, thanks for the offer, but I intend this boy to be a straight arrow (cough).

Everyone here always has excellent suggestions for restaurants, coffee, beer, apples, etc. So, any good places to take him for a circumcision?

Ha. Maybe we could get the Vine Talk studio audience to vote on our nominees.

Hilarity.

You are not thinking like a NYC sommelier. You should be prepared to answer these questions.

I can't find the original ad where the guy cuts a diamond in the back of the Lincoln as they drive around Manhattan.
