I sometimes go home emotionally drained after trying this, though not always. I can imagine it would be different for a pro like you - I can hear the music but I have to listen very carefully over a long period. I sometimes get overwhelmed at those kinds of events, and even when I don't, I never feel like I got as much out of the wines as I would have in the quieter medium though.
