The Sixtine is awful. A wine shop friend of mine told me he had a conversation at a tasting with the Vatican winemaker who explicitly said he made the wine specifically for Parker points/recognition. Sad.

That doesn't ring any bells.
I do however remember drinking the 95 Fonsalette at Cook's place with you, Yaniger and others. I have no idea who brought it, but I remember people trying to explain to me what I was missing as I didn't find it very exciting. (And there was a 95 Beaucastel that was much more my speed).

That's ok Larry I didn't get it either and I remember when Rahsaan showed up for the first time at Hoke's place in Sonoma. Of course I always kidded Rahsaan about spending 20 years in graduate school and not having to work ever and how did he manage it?originally posted by Larry Stein:

It was me. People often mistake Rahsaan and I. It's the SEM.
