Oddly, according to CT, only 3 of these bottles are owned across the CT universe. I decided to drink 33% of the community holdings tonight during the NBA Draft/Phillies game:
Golden color in the glass and slow-ox'd for 45 minutes before I gave it a try. Delicate nose of banana peel, yellow florals, subtle honey, some butterscotch and melons. No question there's an oxidative quality to the nose with some subtle nuttiness - typical Jura in this regard - but it's not extreme oxidation which is nice. Palate is smooth, but densely packed with minerals, melons and subtle tropical fruit. Noticeable and enjoyable acidity on the finish made this go well with some spicy Thai food tonight.
