Rest well, Joe Dressner

Mr. Doghead

Robert Callahan
My friend Joe died last night at 1:45 a.m., at home in New York. His loving wife Denyse, children Jules and Alyce, and his dog Zag Zag were present.

This loss to the community and to me personally is enormous.

Thank you for everything, brother.

Joe was a great man and his passion will endure through everyone and everything he touched. Truly an inspiring individual.

Rest in peace, Joe. Really hate to see you go. Condolences to Denyse, Alyce, Jules, & Zaggy. It's good to know that your important work will continue in your absence.

Joe, you were and will always be my biggest wine hero. You will be sadly missed. We are so lucky to have you for many years and it was very special to share some moments with you last fall up here. Our thoughts are with all the great folks of Louis/Dressner and all his friends and family. Thanks for paving the way Joe! Long live REAL WINE!

What sad news. His wit and his work will be sorely missed. I, too, extend my deepest sympathy to his family and closest friends.

We are all lucky that Joe spent some of his time and passion working in wine. Our corner of the world is better for his having been here.
