I admit a fondness for clumsy symbolic gestures. But I'm afraid no notes were taken on Tuesday. It was not a night for wine analysis.
I have generally found the Dornfelders from Lingendelder (Pfalz) and from Furst (Franken) to be good, usually harmonious, sometimes delicious, never more than slightly spoofy. My experience with other Dornfelders is spotty.originally posted by Todd Abrams:
