Really? I just bought a few bottles of this. Oh well, at least the price was right ($25).
 
And nary a corked wine for the last 3 weeks, which makes me very worried about the next big wine dinner I have coming up.

But I need Callahan sitting across the table to really fuck up the wines - on my own there's just not enough TCA karma. I still remember that night.

I admit a fondness for clumsy symbolic gestures. But I'm afraid no notes were taken on Tuesday. It was not a night for wine analysis.

I drank scotch and finished the evening with a Budweiser longneck. Yup.

I have generally found the Dornfelders from Lingendelder (Pfalz) and from Furst (Franken) to be good, usually harmonious, sometimes delicious, never more than slightly spoofy. My experience with other Dornfelders is spotty.
