Interesting regarding RS, never crossed my mind.
I studied the three 2010 Sec over three days each, and while they were all outstanding, Le Mont did not want to be Sec, and I don't mean that from an RS standpoint specifically. It just seems all the tremendous work done in that vineyard, in conjunction with the warmer climate, possibly along with Pinguet's desired yield levels, is no longer making the wine's profile suitable for any form of Sec in a reasonably ripe vintage.
And no, I am not trying to draw parallels with Spatlesen pretending to be Kabinetts, this is something else.
