We made a very nice dinner at the TGJP in Paris with Cole K. last friday with 5 northern Rhône (Jamet, Faurie, Le Colombier) & 2 whites from Maxime Magnon. see

You really think those are equivalent?

Pitchfork Pat is somewhat nearer Jean than Marie le Pen, but the populist, anti-immigration, get back to the pure America, stuff was nearly identical. I agree that we don't have anyone quite like Mélenchon. Our politics doesn't go far enough left. But the attitude toward the center of his own political position (Gore was no different than Bush) was pretty equivalent.
