Napa might be more analogous to the North Fork, I suppose. Pretty place, formerly bucolic agricultural space, now a fancier exurban scene a couple of hours from the city.

Good point, but don't forget the Hamptons. (Actually, Channing Daughters and Wöllfer are fairly well regarded.)
