It gets worse! Belair, now Belair-Monange, is now a $125 wine.
Ooops! Sorry! It WAS a $125 wine. Now it's a $300 wine.
The extra coin must be because it's now a "tour de force," per the WA review.
Fortunately I still have some 1995s I bought like 2 years ago for $25.

On the other hand the 2010 Dublere Volnay Tallepieds was all crushed blackberries and warm spices, in a light style. Very nice despite a terrible food match.

Lucky guy. That was a really nice wine. Could certainly benefit from more time but with air it was gorgeous now.

2008 Dublere Tallepieds on Good Friday was good though showing perhaps a touch modern (very different from the Blanchards which seems to be the class of their lineup). A 2006 Dublere Charmes Chambertin last month was lush and complex though rather ripe. I liked it a lot but I wasn't surprised that someone at the table who claimed to not like Burgundy also liked it a lot.
