Very expensive though. (stony hill cab)

Was mildly surprised when told stony hill isn't naturally fermented. But te chard is still great.

Okay, it's expensive to grow good (nonspoofed) cab sav in California, but why are cabernets sooo much more expensive then pinot noir-chardonnay-weird obscure varietal, which is made in the same State? Makes no sense to me. I think the list of more traditional zinfandel producers is longer than those making traditional old-school cabernets. Too bad, because I think this grape reflects well in the climate there.

I'd say David Schildknecht, Neal Martin and Luis Gutiérrez appreciate quite a few of those kinky unsulfured wines and will rate them highly... The proof is in the pudding.
