Thanks Mike - are the wines here yet?
btw the 08 regular moelleux is as electric as .sasha says. A few bottles still at Chambers I think.
But these are a level up, plus with added bottle age. I plan to try them too.

I bought another pack. Though I'd said that I expected pricing to be different for different markets, I didn't expect that the local price would be a 60% markup from the CSW pricing. Time for some conversations with the local supply chain . . . .
Has anyone seen pricing in other markets on this offering, and if so, do you mind sharing the prices you've seen?

It sounds like CSW, LDM, and David Bowler are not marking the wine up at all. Aside from credit card fees, it is all going to Pinon (the original point, after all, being to raise money for the domaine in hard times). Perhaps in other markets there is less altruism.

i wonder, though, if $750 still goes to the Pinons regardless of markup.

From the CSW flyer:
"The price is set by François at $750 and the intention is that all the money will go directly to the Pinon family. There will be no commissions or profits added for us as part of our and your effort to help him through a stretched financial period. The quantity is limited."

Yuck. The Todd Waldmann dude seems even worse than the duck banger, unless he's being ironic. And Jay got some good shots.
