Strangely, we just drank an '11 Lapierre today from Vita's on Lopez (where we've been for the last week). It was good, but had been sitting in the heat for a while and I don't believe it was in the best condition. But Lopez for week, wow. Very quiet kayaking water early in the week. Some very nice birding. On Friday we found ourselves in the middle of a school of Harbor Porpoises.

Sorry we missed you! I take off Weds. but if you happen to be in town tomorrow nite and want to do a mellow jeeb, just say the word.

That south side of Lopez is something special. Usually do a bike trip down there once a summer.

It was lunch and I didn't really pay close attention. I did see some pizzas hitting the table.

Heh. In college, my friend Hal wrote a chapbook of poetry called The Donner Party Dinner Party.
