Big fan of chevalerie in the 90s in general, but don't know their 95s, nor am I especially well-versed in the vintage for cab franc. It would seem, based on isolated examples which have popped up in NYC, that they have been ready for a while, particularly if compared to the 96s?? And one would expect Galichets to be more accessible in the first place.
93 bussardieres has made it into this market on a couple of occasions, and I did like it, but it had to be approached with a frame of mind not too dissimilar from what was required by 93 red burgundy for years (especially if you weren't familiar with a specific wine from barrel or on release), which is to say that its acidity and relative lightness, while leaving no doubt about the wine's ultimate balance, left open questions about how much longer it needed and just how endowed or complex it would ultimately become.
