National harbor( VA)..help!

i need to plan a business dinner near the National Harbor and i really need some suggestions. i was there recently and the options were not enticing at all. where can i take 10 people and have quality food and a somewhat disorderly wine list and cocktails? open to all price ranges. diners are open minded to all cuisines. old town alexandria?
also could use some causal lunch options.

I use business dinners to go out of my comfort zone.

I would try the Hirsch Vineyards The Bohan Dillon or one of the J. Christopher Oregon Pinots.

The Willakenzie 09 Aliette PN beckons.

Arietta 2003 could be a sleeper if you want to splurge; the ’96 was pretty and balanced in 2010 (something you don’t usually say about Napa Cab these days).

Cune Imperial Gran Reserva 99 haven't had this vintage, the 2001 was dazzling recently.

The CVNE and several Italians are what caught my eye. Castellare, it torre, etc.

Google maps says 15 miles/half hour. Uber says about $60 in a black car. Downtown DC, Arlington and Alexandria are all significantly closer.

I agree with Cole. Ripple is in Cleveland Park, which is a good bit further away from you than downtown DC. I cannot tell you how far downtown is because I have never been to National Harbor but I know directionally where it is.

DC used to have a $25 per bottle limit on corkage. There Is no longer is a legal limit. Proof was $35 a few weeks ago, Central was $25 and Fiola was listed as $50 per bottle.

Hopefully, Maureen will answer. I have not been to Ripple, but I have heard very good things about the restaurants from a number of friends.
 
must second the restaurant eve reco. had a delightful dinner there with Bernie Roth some months ago. they have Huet on the list. 'nuf said.
