I received an email this morning:
Join us for an evening with Sarah Hwang and Jean- Bernard Berthomé,
respectively the president and winemaker of Vouvray's Domaine Huet.
We will taste our way through their three stellar vineyards,
Le Haut-Lieu, Le Mont, and Clos du Bourg that comprise
this renowned domaine, concluding with
Cuvée Constance, their superlative dessert wine.
In addition to being one of the youngest and most celebrated domaines
in France's Loire Valley, Domiane Huet is lauded as one of the
pioneers of biodynamic wine making and its
great success with these techniques is exemplary.
Chef Galen Zamarra and Wine Director Sarah Looper have created
a six course degustation and wine pairing showcasing the versatility
of Chenin Blanc as expressed by Domaine Huet.
