My own contribution: a 1ere trie Moelluex Clos du Bourg '02 was excellent a year ago. I don't remember the importer strip. I have another waiting and will look at the strip. Purchased at Sam's.
I haven't experienced any issues with the '02 sweeties, nor have I seen any reports of problems. The sugar should keep them safe.
I'm hoping that you're correct. My darling* wife just gave me a bottle of '02 CdB Moelleux as a birthday present.

2002 LHL Demi-Sec, from Brad's source.
Gorgeous wine, pristine color. Not as rich as CdB demi or as structurally gothic as LM -- very elegant, extremely fragrant (not just flowers, but pollen and subtle hints of exotic fruits).
We looked and looked for any signs for early premox, like shorter finish, off aromas, color, etc., but could find nothing, despite a grey-blueish edge on the bottom of the cork.
1/3 still in fridge, we shall see tonight.

Oh, pish. There's always a way to make some fun out of it. Get out a bunch of matchsticks and play "Poverty" ("I don't have any premox!"), or take turns singing verses of "I spy with my little eye" (...no shortness of finish!). Write wine flaws down on scraps of paper, shake them up in a bowler hat, then draw lots to see what you should taste for in the next glass.

so the reason i was looking so hard was this was a bottle left in the fridge for 9 months
