Huet 1996 Vouvray Sec "Le Mont" - beautiful, creamy and rich, just the barest hint of apple juice reminds how difficult it has been to find these wines in pristine shape
Prager 2001 Achleiten Gruner Veltliner - very slightly vegetal, lots of saffron, crisp, no pox at all, velvety texture, an SFJoe bottle
Bereche NV Champagne "Rive Gauche" - it's the '10 bottling because they changed to the script labels; all pinot meunier, beautiful, well-mannered fizz, crisp, that very slight waxy/funky smell that indicates p.m. to me
some 1998 Australian horror - not really a horror but it's very tired from carrying around all that oak

Vieux Chateau Certan 1976 Pomerol - dead
Ch. Figeac 1975 Saint-Emilion - vigorous, lean, sinewy, chewy
Ch. Trotanoy 1966 Pomerol - OMG, it has everything: earth, orange peel, some faraway red berries, sweet tobacco, wow
Trimbach 1995 Riesling "Clos St Hune" - poxxed

Linden 2012 Chardonnay "Hardscrabble" - from Virginia, nice bottle of chardonnay, but slightly too oaky so is wearying to drink, I found one reviewer online who says it's better at age 10
Pinon 1994 Vouvray - gorgeous bottle of wine, rich, mellow, very Chenin
L. Boillot 2000 Volnay 1er "Les Caillerets" - a little stinky, sturdy, nice enough but doesn't scream Caillerets
Foillard 2007 Morgon "Cuvee 3.14" - big and ripe, even some earth under all that fruit, great wine
