the pdf looks exactly the same to me as it used to in hard copy. and i've printed off the coffee and etna articles on regular white printer paper and they look just like pages out of the hard copy issues of old.
Reading online, yes, but it won't print nicely for me.

Is it an issue of font substitution, Jeff, or printer dimensions? I can't think of another reason that a PDF would print differently for you than for Robert. After all, that's the P.

if you can do font substitution on a pdf files that is news to me, but i recognise my luddite level of savvy in this arena. my guess would be that the resolution at which the document is being printed is too low for a sharp copy.

It only prints one page at a time!

do you mean you can't do print jobs that are multiple pages?

that's not a problem with the pdf file. i printed off the articles on coffee and etna, each as one multiple-page print job.

Well, it won't download the PDF. So, I was going to print the dynamic copy to a PDF format. But it won't do it.

Doris, at AoE, tells me the developer is still working on it, so I'll try again tomorrow.
