Hot damn! This showed really well last night and even impressed my GFs parents who are Burgundy snobs. Decanted for about 45 minutes before dinner, but even the first taste showed that this wine has evolved pleasantly over the last couple of years (and in the expected trajectory!). Getting a bit pinote, with some bottle sweetness and sous bois coming into play. The tannins are more resolved, but still present. There remains good red fruit and tangy minerals but more autumnal. I think it is entering its window, but should stay there for a good long time. There is something for everyone here. Some fruit left for me, some tertiary notes for Jay. If you have a batch, pop one now.
