A big hello to the original Eden!
From a purely Machiavellian standpoint, I'm glad that Chris goaded you into the spotlight. I've always felt as if I was at some of the NYC dinners at a level a little more elevated than "vicariously" when you've been mentioned as being in attendance.
I wish my parents were the type to drink Barolo for anniversaries. Most of the time it was Charles Krug or Pesenti. I often wonder where I'd be today if I'd had a better head start. How long did the 1990 Gagliardo take to open up, and what did you eat with it?

Sadly, it's getting tougher these days to hitchike on friend's private jets, plus the Washington Square Hotel (my "home away from home") raised their rates to pay for the renovation, so I've not been back there for quite some time. I aiming for the Spring, if I don't hop down to Australia instead.
BTW, I just did some work on a knitting supplies company's website. Talk about insular worlds unto themselves!
