Florida Jim
I have had the 2014 versions of the Sandlands Chenin from Napa, Amador and California (all three of the designations they do) - all with food over an extended period, whether one evening or several.
I agree that the Amador is the oakiest but enjoyed it with linguini and clams tonight finding it neither too much so or the worse for its treatment.
The California struck me as the hardest; very firm, almost angular.
The Napa was my favorite.
These initial experiences convince me to buy whatever they will sell me, annually.
Just sayin'.
Best, Jim
