Me, I've stopped cellaring Donnhoff because it's important to take a stand against things you don't think is fair, and with this producer, I think it's unfair that the price has risen so much since the newer generation added the extra 'n' and extra 'f' to their surname name on the label back in the 1960s (I'm just thankful that they didn't make it "Von Dönnhoff" because the price would have gone stratospheric, what with the connotations of Germanic royalty. There may also have been a slight upcharge for the umlaut too, but I've been unable to verify this on any of the alternative wine facts fora I participate in.
