I find myself in the mood for trebbiano but not in the mood to pay Valentini prices.
Would appreciate any recommendations. Thank you!

Tiberio is very much worth your time. Both the entry level bottling and the Fonte Canale are excellent wines and very much over deliver for their prices.

Oh, see, that's useful information. Because you didn't find yourself in the mood for trebbiano, you found yourself in the mood for Valentini.originally posted by Jay Miller:

You asked so you have no one to blame but yourself.
I'm planning a Sherry dinner and remembered that sasha had never gotten back to me on some Sherry I was hoping to acquire from him which reminded me of the one wine he had ever gotten back to me on which was a Valentini Cerasuolo which I declined because I had hoped to open it at a dinner which had already passed. However that reminded me of the last time I had a Valentini Trebbiano and how wonderful it was. A quick check showed me it was as expensive as I remembered but I was still in the mood so I posted this question.

Another classic Levenberg diss of Italian wine.
