NY Madiran-cassoulet jeebus, January 19

While I recognize that adding yet more might stretch the limits of hospitality, I too might be traveling from Boston to NYC that weekend. If there's truly room, please add me to the "maybe" list.

I regretfully have no mature Madiran (or Irouleguy or Cahors for that matter- I drank my last '82 Cayrou last year), though would be happy to go east instead of west from Toulouse and pick up one of CSW's bottles of aged Mas de Daumas Gassac.
 
Carumba! If everyone shows up, we may just take every seat in the restaurant.

Seriously, ZR, I think you should notify the chef to lay down extra cassoulet for that evening. We're going to skew his daily average production quite a bit.
 
Heh. When I first made the reservation, I said a whole group was coming for cassoulet - and Monsieur seemed to think that was ok. I'll make it clear to him once again that is the case.

He also said they can make reservations for parties as large as 30.
 
Other obligations will prevent me from coming to NYC next weekend.

Too bad, I love cassoulet.
