I'm in, possibly MJ as well.
I would love to try Spinasse but have no idea about the corkage policy there.

As I said, i'm in 100% as long as it is not 90 miles distant. I'm the Noob here, so ignore me as required, but I suggest we get a count of how many folks are committed.
I have concerns over some of the Seattle Jeeb places i've heard mentioned in the past - don't think chinese bbq pork and duck is necessarily the best foil regardless of how much riesling and vouvray I might have.
I work downtown and am willing to go anywhere no matter how high end. in a pinch I could probably host up here in Ballard if folks are willing to make the (small) journey.
Ah, a local bakery of yours earned a mention in the latest Art of Eating! I intend to try and snag one of the Honore Artisan Bakery's cannele while I'm out there. I haven't had one since Bouley Bakery closed.
Since Jay is up in Shoreline, do you know any good restaurants that might work on the north side?originally posted by Lee Short:
Wine Stores...none good in Shoreline that I am aware of. Jay, drop me an email at blackcat (a t ) pro-ns (do t ) net, and I'll fix you up.
I'm perfectly fine with a trek to the "wilds" of Ballard: not that far, really. But it is an extra 10-15 minutes for the Bellingham folks. Their call. I think we'll be too big a party for most of the standard jeeb spots.

Damn, jeebing with a guru of cybersecurity! I'm downright jealous now.
