I'm still in for sure. Probably have a +1 (my wife Yvette) if there is room from a few dropouts.

I'm fine w/ Eva as i've never been, but it's nearby and looks interesting.
I didn't realize it was in Tangletown (an area of Wallingford).

I have left a message at Golden Beetle for the manager to call me back.
The person I spoke to did start saying things like for more than 10 they would want to have a more limited 4-5 course menu, etc. So it sounds like they might be a bit more restrictive than the deal we would get at EVA.

So i'm ready to commit, and I think we should probably jump on EVA. $8/head seems pretty reasonable to me.

I'll be back w/ wine I guess. Seems like we have no theme. Old stuff or something? Is that a theme?

Been buying those 90's Gaunoux wines from Envoyer, but they won't ship until fall.

So mix of middle age and newer from me i'm afraid. Maybe a ringer.

We probably do need a count though - assuming they wanted that from EVA or are they truly that loose?
 
Totally agree. I'll bring a bunch of stuff and open up what ever you folks have any interest in.

Actually their list does not look too bad either - 85 Huet Moelleux, and D'Epire Savennieres, plus a page of gamay and various pinot.

Looking forward to it.

The Tribut was quite nice - I noticed it never quite made it's way back to our end of the table again...

I guess 4 days bicycle camping in the san juans, sipping local cider at sunset watching a pod of orcas swim by wasn't such a bad consolation prize though...

FWI the latest AOE cider article has inspired me to start scheming a grand cider tasting in the next couple months if ya'll are interested.
