It's Summer, Show Me Some Skin!!!

Hey, Thor came and went and we are still talking. Bowman has practically taken up residence here, even after the Bresson fandango.

It's possible.

We might be oil and tinder, but we still need the flame to blow up.

Thanks, Levi. Looking forward to arguing with you in person.

Is this going to lead to another string of hiatuses?

I look forward to reading the announcement of hiatuses after the Oranging. I wish I could be there to Orange and then hiatus.

Mr. Perry's job, much like my own, may preclude midweek travel to Gotham, even for such a singular event. Or he might be on vacation.

What is the current state of wine for the dinner?

I'm flying in from NC, so won't be carrying. I'm happy to bring anything that can be accessed at Chambers or thereabouts.

I also might be able to get some wine from LDM.

Does Massa Vecchia bianco count?

The Orange List from the resto will be (with perhaps last minute additions from the OWGS):

Movia Lunar 2007 (Brda, Slovenia)
Kante Sauvignon 2006 (Friuli, Italia)
Damijan "Kaplja" 2004 (Friuli, Italia)
Radikon "Jakot" 2003 (Friuli, Italia)
Gravner "Breg" Amphora 2001 (Friuli, Italia)
Gravner Ribolla Gialla Amphora 2001 (Friuli, Italia)
Casa Coste Piane "Tranquillo" 2006 (Veneto, Italia)
La Biancara "Taibane" 1996 (Veneto, Italia) from magnum
Ca' de Noci "Notte di Luna" 2006 (Emilia, Italia)
Ca' de Noci "Notte di Luna" 2007 (Emilia, Italia)
La Stoppa "Ageno" 2004 (Emilia, Italia)
Monastero Suore Cistercensi "Coenobium" 2006 (Lazio, Italia)
Monastero Suore Cistercensi "Coenobium" 2007 (Lazio, Italia)
De Conciliis "Antece" 2004 (Campania, Italia)

If folks who are coming would like to post here what they will be bringing to the dinner, that will perhaps prevent doubles.

I know one person has commited to bringing Vodopivec Vitovska Solo/MM4.

2 x Monastero Suore Cistercensi "Coenobium" Rusticum 2007 (Lazio, Italy)
2 x Paolo Bea Arboreus 2004 (Umbria, Italy)
2 x Hautes Terres de Comberousse Roucaillat 2001 (Languedoc, France)

How's the 1997 Gravner Ribolla Gialla as an option?

I see it on the list at Wine Expo in LA and I'll be there on Sunday so I could drag one back.

I'll bring one of these.

Jeff G. intends to bring a second bottle so we'll have two.
