Are there other patrons? (There won't be for long, I'll wager.)

Now I'm especially bummed I could only find one bottle of the Lispida. 24 is a lot to stretch one bottle.

(I was also thinking that I should stop by earlier and drop the bottle off for chilling. Then I remembered what kind of wine we're drinking. So never mind.)

According to winesearcher De Vino and Appellation have the 02 Lispida. I will try to pick one up.

I was able to pick up a second bottle of the 02 Lispida. Is it possible to post the lineup? I have some singles of a fews wines that I could bring so it would be nice to see the full lineup so there is no duplication.

This is what I was able to glean from the above. Hopefully I was succesful at excluding the West Coast wines and not excluding any of the east coast:

A last minute note from the tireless OWGS: Damijan "Kaplja" 2003 will also be showing at Radio City Orange Hall, along with it's 2004 brethen already noted. Also, just to note, everything from the restaurant will be 2 bottles, a magnum, or three 500-ml bottles. Just for clarity's sake.

The stage is set, the menu has been prepped, a bottle of Ageno shattered against the floor earlier tonight, and I'm still at the restaurant trying to figure out if there really is Malvasia Istriana in the Damijan Kaplja, or if it's got Pinot Bianco in it instead. This is going to be good!!

Anyone else excited for the Gravner pre-Amphora / post-Amphora side by side from the same grape variety, a few years down the line? I can honestly say I'm pumped about the chance. I remember the 2000 Ribolla, and I remember the 2001 Ribolla Amphora, but I've never tried them next to each other. This is better than finding a new Grillo for the list! Good times, people!

Also, two, count 'em two, wines from old vines in Croatia! TWO. When was the last time you were like "Yeah, I had two wines from Istria last night..." I mean come'on!

Annnnnnnnnnd Cornelissen white. I had to go to friggin JAPAN to try a Cornelissen red. Now a white just ends up in Tudor City. Just like that.

Miraculous.

Did you hear the rumor Lee Campbell might, maybe, just possibly be at Orange Fest? It's true! She decided today to think about it!

What might Lee bring along with her, you wonder? Good question. Sounds like there is the slightest chance that there will be a Radikon 2001 Ribolla on the other side of that Gravner '01 bottle.

Seriously.

I think everyone should message Lee and let her know how much they would like to see her, catch up, drink that Radikon, drink that Radikon, etc.

Miracles might happen here.

I'm telling you. This is a great moment in the History of Orange.

Anybody know about that Kaplja thing?
