Yes, that was a nice one. Outclassed a *slightly* premoxed 2002 Huet Le Mont Demi Sec and a surprisingly oaky 1990 CVNE Imperiale GR.

The San Valentino is a Montefalco Rosso, isn't it? It's predominantly Sangiovese, with lesser amounts of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and Sagrantino. I've had 4-5 bottles of the '05 in the last year or two, and all of them have been excellent.

I believe it is an IGT
