EPL Season

It's not Stevie I've been admiring in the EPL, outside of Arsenal, for years. I think you know.

You've always been a Scott Parker guy.

On a separate note, how about Chelski? A pretty emphatic "not dead yet" from the old guard. Does Mourihno leave all teams unmanageable in his wake? Seems like the only exception was Porto. Then again, Inter and Real have a long history of being unmanageable and maybe Chelski was always destined to be that way.

And what did you guys think of Ramsey's cameo? He looked bright and fresh with a spring in his step. It was good to see.

Parker. Good one!

Yes, fantastic Ramsey outing, but in a completely different role - he wasn't attempting to distribute the ball as an advanced midfielder, they were pretty much airmailing it in by the time he showed up, and I've forgotten how big and relatively strong the guy was.

He looked very quick and clever.

well, you can't have everything.
Should they get out of Franckie's backyard unscathed, one can not underestimate the disadvantage of playing the first game against Jose at home.

I think this is just a method to extract more money for the club. He's definitely leaving, right?

A team wouldn't buy Goetze and Hazard, so which one would we want?

Again, I hope M'Vila rumor is true this time. A second strong defensive midfielder would really help for some ties and would free Song to see what his limit for creative play is. Watching his development has been one of the great pleasures of this campaign.

if I am a Russian billionaire and I've just bought Wigan, I start with Goetze.

if I am a Russian billionaire with a minority stake in Arsenal, I get Hazard.

Everyone who is leaving everywhere signed a contract this year.

apparently I wasn't the only one impressed by Giovinco during the Italy-USA game

So four teams in the Europa semis and two teams in the CL semis are purple. What will Victor say to that??

he had an excellent game. the whole midfield did. i want some of whatever it is that rosicky has started taking. (and of course, t v was defensively excellent at both ends.)

citeh's wheels have totally come off since tevez came back from raiding the larder. it's worth noting, despite all the noise.

I was just telling vlm he must know the same guy as Ribery. So fucked up minds think alike too!

I said this over email (which you should be part of BTW), but I counted at least 3 occasions in the first half where Song gave the ball away cheaply.

Don't get me wrong, he had a monster game, but he can be a bit iffy with possession.

The question I posed is whether this is the price we have to pay for him exploring a new role as a box to box type, rather than as a strict Makalele.

Rosicky is like Grant Hill, he has about 3.5 years less on his legs than the average 30 year old player.

If someone had asked me to bet on the EPL table looking the way it does now, I would lose all the money I can now happily spend on oaky whites.
