2013 Tempier rose

I haven't had a 2013 European Rose that I've really enjoyed yet either, other than Baudry, Crochet, Clos Roche Blanche, Pradeaux, Peyrassol, Los Bermejos, and Ameztoi, but it's still early and there's plenty of hot days left in the summer. :)

Although I thought the 2013 Clos Roche Blanche Rose was better on day 2. Still good on day 1 but better on day 2.

I really wish Arnold liked their wines.

I am going to go further. It is the Platonic form of rose.

Ironically, they have trouble getting the AOC. Most of the neighbors block malo, and they think they have enough acidity without that intervention.

It seems I am apt to make edgy declarative statements this morning. Perhaps there was something in my coffee.

Got chastised by the prof years ago here for using Platonic this way. Forgot exactly why.

Go with it. You should indulge more often.

Mas Jullien is quite fresh and appetizing. And a piling on for Baudry's deliciousness.
Best,
John
Disclaimer: I sell the stuff in addition to drinking it.

Good with smoked trout BLTs, just by the bye.
